Why Toll-Free Travel Matters During the Holidays
The holiday season traditionally brings one of the highest traffic volumes of the year. Toll-free travel on major expressways helps:
- Reduce congestion at toll collection points
- Improve overall traffic flow
- Shorten travel time
- Provide cost savings for motorists
- Encourage safer and more organized road travel
With increased demand for transportation and reported challenges in air travel during peak seasons, road travel remains a reliable alternative for many families.
Important Reminders for Motorists
To make the most of toll-free travel, motorists are advised to:
- Plan trips ahead and follow official advisories
- Ensure vehicles are in good running condition
- Observe speed limits and traffic regulations
- Maintain sufficient RFID balance outside toll-free hours
- Stay alert, well-rested, and patient during peak travel times
Making Holiday Journeys Smoother and Safer
The toll-free travel initiative on major Luzon expressways reflects the commitment of tollway operators to improve mobility and enhance the holiday travel experience. By removing toll barriers during peak hours, motorists can enjoy a more convenient, cost-efficient, and safer journey home.
This holiday season, toll-free expressways help ensure that every trip—whether to reunions, vacations, or homecomings—is smoother and more meaningful.
