Anti-Distracted Driving Act (ADDA) effective TODAY,
July 6, 2017.

Prohibited acts while driving include but not limited to:
(even while driver is STUCK IN TRAFFIC, AS LONG AS HE IS BEHIND THE WHEEL)
- making or receiving calls
- writing, sending or reading text based communications
- playing games
- watching movies
- performing calculations
- reading e-books
- composing messages
- surfing or browsing the internet.

Authorized to apprehend are: the DOTr-LTO, PNP-HPG, MMDA & LGUS.

1st offense: P5k
2nd offense: P10k
3rd offense: P15k w/ 3 mos. license suspension
